Dear Sir, On behalf of the Board of management, parents and students, I take this opportunity to thank you very much for drilling a water well for the school. The well shall provide clean drinking water for the whole school. We shall use it for cooking since we have lunch program and for drinking. We shall also share it with our neighboring primary school as well as other neighbors around the school. Previously we relied on CDF (Constituency Development Fund) water supply and the bill was Kenya shillings 15,000 – 20,000 (US$ 179 to US$ 238) per month. As a small day school this was very expensive and we really thank God that we will not incur that bill anymore. We shall embark on other needs that are several. Once more thank you very much no words can express our gratitude. God bless The Lifewater Kenya and God bless Lifewater Canada. Yours Faithfully, Doris J. Wairimu Principal / Secretary B.O.M

Serial # 82410 A health & hygiene workshop will be conducted in January, when the school is back in session. The compliment of students and staff are as follows: 316 students and 20 both teaching and non-teaching staff. Taken from the application letter for this well project: ''Due to the high population the water we get from Constituency Development Fund (CDF) is not sufficient. We sometimes go without water when there is rationing. This exposes children to the stream/river water that they are force to use. The water is contaminated and children can contract waterborne ie typhoid, cholera or bilharzia because it is a stream/swamp.''
