A message from the community |

Dear Lifewater & Sponsor, We the dwellers of Riverview community, say a very big thank you to you and your able staff for giving us safe drinking water in our community . For many years we have been drinking from hand dug wells, that were not safe. Thank you ever so much for this kind gesture and may the almighty God give you strength to continue such a good job in other communities. Thank you |

On November 25,16 a Health & Hygiene Workshop was conducted with 27 people in attendance. This community is found in the Dolo Town area around the Firestone Harbel Market. This community is called Riverview because of its closeness to the river. It is a very large populated community, but had no safe drinking water, so we used a hand dug well and the river as our source. This community did not have a good hygienic practices; this is why during the 2014 Ebola crisis lot of people died. Two ETU camps were built in this community because of the high number of people that were affected by the Ebola virus. With the help of God through Lifewater Liberia and its partners, the people of this community can now say we have safe drinking water. This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
