Dear Lifewater & Sponsor, After requesting Lifewater to provide safe drinking water for our community, the process was started immediately and the drillers were able to drill 55 feet. We therefore say thank you for meeting the water needs of our people in this community. We pray that this relationship will continue and hope to see you when we call upon you. Thanks for your timely cooperation. Best regards, Shelk Bow

The Lifewater Liberia team held a Health & Hygiene workshop on January 28,2017 with 22 people in attendance. Boy’s Town is in Marshall Lower Margibi County, separated by the main motor road leading to Marshall City. The community is rapidly growing in population and there is lot of construction ongoing in the area. There is a lack of major social amenities in the area, like the lack of safe drinking water. Most of the people in this community are engaged in petit trade as a means of survival. This community has over SEVEN hundred people, most of whom are women and children. Many of these kids are left with the responsibility of fetching water for their parents from streams across the main street. The water from the streams is contaminated and has caused skin rashes for many in times past. Many of the people who saw the pump constructed continued to appreciate the team for the project. The people of Boy's Town remain grateful to Lifewater and the generous hearts that has impacted the lives of the people in this community. This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support! |
