Upper & Lower Joezhon is found along the Monrovia-Kakata highway, a few minutes drive from the Fendell University Campus. This town is one of the oldest in District No1 in Margibi County. It is a large community with mostly women and children. The houses are built with dirt bricks, cement and zinc. The people earn their living by farming, hunting, tapping of rubber trees and some petty trade. The only source of water here were hand dug wells only 5 to 10 feet deep. Thankfully, this new well will provide safe drinking water for the community and surrounding villages. This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
