Dabra Community Quarter #5 (population-780) This Quarter is blessed with two churches, one school and other business centers. Their homes are built with mostly mats, sticks and mud blocks. This area is very swampy and has a lack of safe drinking water which threatens the health of the people. The only source of water available were hand dug wells that were badly built and very shallow. The young girls would walk long distances early in the morning risking their lives to get water for the household. The Health & Hygiene Team held a workshop on July 11, 2018 with 25 participants. This information brought relief to their lives teaching them about good health & hygiene practices to become healthy and strong. This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support! |
