A message from the community

Dear Lifewater & Sponsor,

Greetings! We are pleased to extend many thanks to you for coming to our aid in such a season. Indeed water is life and we have received this symbol of life from you.

Thank God we can now drink from a pump and not a well like before. May God continue to bless Lifewater and the partners.

Thank you,

Pastor Samuel K Zeo

We are so thankful to you all, and we give glory to God for directing your organization to our community to save us from the lack of water. We joyfully celebrated the good news of safe drinking water coming into the area by the drill team of Lifewater.

I am not just happy about the new hand pump, but the health information given to us today in the workshop. This will help us take care of ourselves and the water we use and drink.

God bless all the people who are putting in their money to support your work here, God will pay them back and bless their families.

Sincerely,

Chairlady

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Dabra Community Quarter#1 (population 700) is located a few minutes drive from the main road that leads to Monrovia. This large community is the oldest in Buchanan City, it was established in the 1960's. The people make their living through Coconut production.

This community lacks severely in the basic social services, no health facility and no safe drinking water available. The water consumed from hand dug wells has caused tremendous health problems.

Thanks to those who support this work, Water now flows from a brand new hand pump providing safe water for many families here in Quarter #1.

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
