Dear Sir

Holy Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As a whole everyone here wishes to extend heartfelt thanks for the workshop and for the new water well that were given to us recently. It is a massive improvement to us and a gift that we all really appreciate.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

New Community is located in Compound # 3 a few minutes' walk from Old Community Land, Grand Bassa County. It is a newly established community that lacks basic social services and was established in 2003.  The population is large dominantly women, and depending on Subsistence farming and petty businesses for their livelihood.

They lack basic social services like safe drinking water and health care, or clinic in this area.  The major source of water for them is the open hand dug wells and rivers. As a result there is a continue out brake of diseases like running stomach, skin diseases and other water borne diseases.

The Health and Hygiene Team made a difference by conducting a workshop that has taught the participants how to keep themselves free of sicknesses that are detrimental to their lives. They were taught about the process of purifying water before consumption and how to keep their environment clean.

Thanks and appreciation to the Lifewater Health and Hygiene Team and the Sponsor of this worthy Program they said.

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
