A message from the community |

Dear Sir/Madame, We the dwellers of Own Your Own Community Q 1 are pleased to offer to you all our thanks and deep appreciation for the excellent workshop that was held for us. The information was excellent and we immediately could see the wisdom in using it in our everyday lives and teaching it to our children. Then when the drill team arrived and started working in our town, we as one rejoiced, for we knew what a blessing safe water was and what a great gift it would continue to be as the safe water flows every day to all who draw from it. This dry season we look forward to having enough water that we don't have to travel far anymore looking for somewhere to get water to drink. Thank you! Martha Flomo Well Caretaker |

Own Your Own Q-1 is located after the entrance gate of Compound # 3, Grand Bassa County. It was established by the Late Father Morris Joe's sister who presently resides in the Community. The place was named 'Own Your Own' due to problems he encountered while renting from his landlord and that is when he established his own place to live and peacefully. The community is large and the children are the most in this Community. Their source of water have been open hand dug wells, creeks, streams or from old sand pits. Through this unhealthy practices diseases, water borne diseases have been the killer in this area. Thank God for the health and hygiene team for bringing to their attention the best way to treat their water through a Workshop conducted by Lifewater Health and Hygiene Team. They extended their thanks and appreciation to the entire Lifewater family for saving their lives.
This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
