A message from the community

Dear Sir

With great joy we extend our greetings and our heartfelt thanks for this new well.  It has been a struggle and expense to obtain safe water to drink, and now we have it right inside our village.

Thank you very much for coming to our rescue.

Njoko Johnson

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Old Community Land Q#4 is also a part of Compound #3  in Grand Bassa County. It is situated around the Central Wayzohn city.  The Old Community Land' was  established long before other communities within Compound #3 But with no much of  Government support for  base  social services to serve  the population.

Over time the population has grown thus leading to the expansion and the establishment of what is known as new community land. Most of the people of the new land community migrated from this Old community Land to settle and have access to more farm land  because they are mostly farmers and depends on this for their livelihood.

The Lifewater Health and Hygiene Team came  on time to safe  the people of this community from the difficulty they were farce with to  cleaning their environment and the lack of clean water.  The people of this community appreciated the Health and Hygiene Team and promise to  use what they learn from the Workshop and  make it  part of their daily life.

As the life water team enter this town the people was happy to see them and they thanked God for the team. Before the  Drillers began work, prayer was offer along with the locals asking God to help safe water to flow freely from the new well.

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
