A message from the community

Dear Lifewater & Sponsors,

Thank you for providing safe drinking water by donating to us a hand pump.  Thank you very much. We pray for God's blessing upon you and all the people of the Lifewater family.

Best Regards,

Matter Meeplay

Dear Lifewater & Sponsors,

We want to take this time to extend our thanks and appreciation for conducting a very important workshop with our community while the pump was being constructed in our community.

Best Regards,

Joseph Yarkeh

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

New Community Land Q#4 is located very close to the Old Community Land, in Grand Bassa County. This community was established in 2003 and has a population of approximately 800+ people. The people here make a living through farming and petty trading.

This area lacks basic services like health care, education and safe drinking water. The only source of water for this community has been hand dug wells and rivers, as a result many have suffered from running stomach and other water borne diseases.

The Health and Hygiene Team has made a difference by conducting a workshop on April 16,2019 having 32 participants. With the knowledge learned at the workshop and a new well with safe water, this community will be happier and healthier. Thank you!

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
