A message from the community

We, the residents of Kasaye village, wish to outpour our gratitude and appreciation following the visit by your team regarding the repair of the stalled water project. God bless!

-- Consolata Obonyo, Kasaye Women's Group leader

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

A well managed by the Kasaye Women's Group in Nyamware, in Nyando sub-county, in Kenya's Kisumu County, stopped producing water two years ago after the pump broke down -- denying the residents any access to clean drinking water. The community was forced to turn to other sources of water that were not so safe and also far away.

Lifewater Canada donors funded repairs to the pump recently. The Kasaye Women's Group and the entire village expressed gratitude for a well that is producing safe water again and giving renewed life to the residents.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
