Peace Island is in Margibi County, in Lower Dolo’s Town. Lifewater drilled water wells there several years ago but due to inevitable wear-and-tear, the hand pumps on the wells stopped working a few months ago. The residents had no choice but to begin buying water they could barely afford, or walking long distances to other sources.

Thanks to our donors, Lifewater returned recently and repaired the pumps, including this one. Now safe and accessible water is flowing again. The locals offered thanks and appreciation to the repair team and to the repair sponsors.
