A message from the community

We want to say thank you to the Lifewater repair team for fixing our hand pump which has been down for the past year. Today, we were lucky to have the repair team in our community.

Etta Cooper, Well Caretaker (trained and equipped by Lifewater to maintain the well and conduct basic repairs)

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

After the hand-powered pump on their only well broke down about a year ago, the people of Pipe Line Neezoe Community were forced to start buying water (if they could afford it) or gather water from hand-dug wells that are often contaminated. This led to many children and adults experiencing diarrhea and waterborne diseases.

Thanks to our donors, Lifewater visited Pipe Line Neezoe Community recently and repaired the hand pump and ensured that safe and accessible water is flowing again, with a caretaker trained and equipped to maintain the pump. The locals were very grateful to God and to Lifewater for the repair work. They promised to take good care of the pump.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
