We, the good citizens of Zuo Town Forgetting Village extend our thanks to the repair team for fixing our pump.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Zuo Town Forgetting Village is in Liberia's Lower Margibi County. Most residents rely on farming and fishing to feed their families. Their water well, which dates from 2010, stopped working more than a year ago after its hand-powered pump broke.

To meet their drinking, cooking, and sanitation needs, locals had no choice but to begin gathering water from nearby rivers and streams. This water is contaminated, and resulted in many people suffering from typhoid and other diarrheal diseases.

Thanks to our donors (in this case the Murphy Rotary Club in North Carolina), Lifewater's repair team visited Zuo Town recently and fixed the broken hand pump. It was an wonderful time for the people, especially the children in the town. They expressed relief and hope after their safe water source was restored.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
