I would like to thank you for the help of a water tank and the installation of a handwashing station. Our school is situated in the most arid of areas and your help is much appreciated. Joshua Mailu, Community Leader |

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

Myuuni Primary School in Nguni, Mwingi Central, in Kenya's Kitui County, has 516 students. The school harvests rainwater but has never been able to harvest enough to meet everyone's drinking and hygiene needs during the dry seasons. Recently, Lifewater Canada donors provided a rainwater harvesting system which includes a large 10,000-litre storage tank and handwashing station. Now, students and staff can have access to water year-round. Myuuni Primary School and the surrounding community expressed their joy and excitement over the new system, saying they trust it will serve them for many years to come. |
