Kutunku is in Gwagwalada town and spread over a large distance. Most residents in Kutunku have been dependent on water vendors, known as Mai Ruwa. These vendors wear dirty clothes and live in an unclean environment on almost every street in Old Kutunku. Worse, most of them collect or buy their water from unsafe sources and resell it to residents at exhorbitant prices.

Thanks to Lifewater Canada and its donors, members of ECWA II Kutunku church and the surrounding community can now fetch safe water without the pain of getting water from Mai Ruwa.
