A message from the community

We write to appreciate the new water well at our church compound for the use of our members and the community. We are glad.

Paiko is a rural community where people depended on shallow hand-dug wells and a river. The river is not a safe water source due to the people and animals who defecate nearby. The community is a cholera-prone area. Thanks to Lifewater Canada donors, a new water well has been drilled in Paiko. We hope it will stem the tide of death connected with unsafe water.
