A message from the community

Thanks to Lifewater, I am grateful and happy. My people are happy because of your work. May God help you all.

-- Maitalata, King of Tunayi District in Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Tunayi and Dandabi are adjoining communities that each had a water well provided by the national government. But both wells have been broken and abandoned for more than 10 years. This forced residents of Tunayi and Dandabi to rely on water from a river in the area. But the walk to and from the river is long, and several people have been attacked while trying to fetch water for their families.

Through the support of our donors, Lifewater visited Tunayi and Dandabi and rehabilitated both wells, including replacing their hand-powered pumps. Both communities expressed their gratitude and prayed for our installation team.
