Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Dandabi and Tunayi are adjoining communities that each had a water well provided by the national government. But both wells have been broken and abandoned for more than 10 years. This forced residents of Dandabi and Tunayi to rely on water from a river in the area. But the walk to and from the river is long, and several people have been attacked while trying to fetch water for their families.

Through the support of our donors, Lifewater visited Dandabi and Tunayi and rehabilitated both wells, including replacing their hand-powered pumps. Both communities expressed their gratitude and prayed for our installation team.
