A message from the community

We express our gratitude for the assistance received from you in repairing our water pump. It will go a long way in improving the health of our school.

  -- Wycliffe Amimo, Headteacher

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Masogo Primary School has about 540 students. The hand-powered pump on their well broke down several years ago, which forced the school to begin buying water to meet everyone's drinking and sanitation needs. The water purchases were so expensive that sometimes, recalls Headteacher Wycliffe Amimo, thirsty students and staff had to go without.

Lifewater Canada donors funded the pump repair so everyone at the school has safe and easily accessible water again. The money saved is being used to further develop the school, Wycliffe says.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
