A message from the community

The administration and the community of Rae-Kanyaika Primary School hereby appreciate the support rendered to us by Lifewater Canada in partnership with STADA Kenya in repairing the water well that was having a technical problem since 2019. It required a major repair that would have cost the school much money we could not afford. Thank you and may you live long to continue supporting other people.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Rae Kanyaika Primary School in Kenya's Kisumu County has about 800 students. The hand-powered pump on the school's well broke down in 2019, denying the students and the community access to safe water.

Lifewater Canada donors funded the repair of the water pump so students and staff can draw safe water again after three years without it. The school community is happy and hopeful that this restoration of good water will nurture the students towards good health and improve their academic performance.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
