A message from the community |

On behalf of all members of Diko's Traditional Council, we write to appreciate Lifewater for their solidarity with our community and assistance by drilling two water wells. We are very grateful for your concern. May almighty God continue to sustain you. -- Sabastine Ali, Community Leader |

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |
||||||||||||||||||
Diko is a densely populated settlement along the Abuja-Minna Expressway. People there have often depended on unsafe water sources because the community's only well is insufficient to meet everyone's needs. The unsafe sources -- a river, open hand-dug wells, and water vendors -- contain fecal waste and other contaminants that would leave many people sick. Thanks to our donors, Lifewater visited Diko and drilled two new wells (including this one) that are providing enough safe, accessible water for everyone.
