A message from the community

We the students of Rongo Primary School express our appreciation to Lifewater Canada for the provision of clean water for us, our families, and the entire community. The new water well is improving our lives in unimaginable ways. We are grateful.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Rongo Primary School in Kisumu County has about 700 students. Most of them and their families were forced to walk for several kilometers in search of clean water each day, or to drink from unsafe sources like ponds and rivers that led to diseases like cholera. Recently, thanks to our donors, Lifewater funded the  drilling of a new well. Now, everyone at the school and in the surrounding community has convenient and consistent access to safe water, and therefore much less health risk.
