Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

About 600 students from Mbega Primary School in Kisumu County had no safe water for several months after the hand pump on the school's well failed. Boys and girls had to begin visiting rivers on their way to school to gather water for themselves. This water is contaminated so everyone was constantly at risk of contracting diarrheal diseases. But now, Lifewater Canada's generous donors have enabled us to replace the broken pump and restore the school's daily access to safe water. |
