A message from the community

We, the Lela Primary School community do appreciate Lifewater Canada for the rehabilitation of our school well. May God bless you all.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Lela Primary School students would drink from  rivers and streams. These are contaminated sources that put every child and adult at risk of diarrheal diseases. The students found themselves in this situation after the hand pump on their school well stopped working. But due to the generosity of Lifewater donors, we have replaced the broken pump so Lela Primary School's rehabilitated well is meeting everyone's safe water needs again.
