Students from Mbega Comprehensive School had no safe source of drinking and washing water for a long time after the hand pump on the school well stopped functioning. Children were forced to rely on unsafe water sources which put them at risk of diarrheal diseases. But thanks to our donors, Lifewater has rehabilitated the well, including replacement of the broken hand pump. Every students is happy to have safe water again. |
