Students from Ojere Primary School in Kisumu county would drink from a nearby river and often fall sick. But the river's water was important because the students had no other source of drinking water, much less a clean one. This was after the hand pump on their school well broke down. Thankfully, not anymore, because Lifewater Canada has replaced the pump and rehabilitated the well. Thanks to the support of our generous donors, children in Ojere Primary School have safe water again. |
