People living in Cotton Tree village could not access clean and safe drinking water for a month because the hand pump on the village well stopped working. The villagers would drink from a shallow well, unsafe sources that put them at the risk of catching diseases. However, Lifewater Canada repaired the broken hand pump so clean and safe water is easily accessible to all in Cotton Tree village. |
