A message from the community

We wish to say that we are so happy to easily access clean and safe drinking water, so we thank you Lifewater Canada for repairing our broken hand pump.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

For a  month, everyone living in Cotton Tree village either had to walk for several kilometers to get to a nearby clean source of water or drink from a close by shallow well after the hand pump on their well stopped working. Either way, it was a struggle for residents to acquire clean drinking water and sometimes, they would just resort to drink from a nearby unsafe shallow well.

But then our hand pump repair team paid a visit to the village and restored the broken hand pump to working order, and in the process, restored the flow of clean and safe drinking water in the village, all thanks to Lifewater Canada donors.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
