A message from the community |

On behalf of Grace Mission Pentecostal School, I wish to give thanks for the rehabilitation of our village well. It was not shocking that the pump broke down as it has served for decades, but it needed a change that we could not afford. Thank you so much Lifewater Canada. ---Community Leaders |

When the hand pump on the well serving Grace Mission Pentecostal School stopped working, the villagers were sad and worried but not shocked as the hand pump was so old and rusty. It was expected that it would stop working but they could not afford to do anything about it. When the pump finally gave way and the water stopped flowing from the bottom of the well, the students and villagers had to reluctantly get water from the creeks Thankfully not anymore, because Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia worked together to rehabilitate the broken well, including replacing its old pump. The people of Grace Mission Pentecostal School are happy to drink and wash from the now rehabilitated village well. |
