The community well serving the residents of St. Catherine is known as the oasis of hope as far as access to clean water is concerned. The residents were unable to access any clean water when the hand pump on their well stopped working, forcing them to drink from rivers and dams. However, Lifewater Canada brought back hope to the villages by fixing the broken hand pump, so everyone in the community is again relying on the village well for their supply of clean water. |
