A message from the community

We thank and appreciate Lifewater for repairing our pump. We have been without it for the past two years. Today, we are getting good water from our well again.

With our highest esteem,

Nuila K. Gbarntala, Community Elder

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Guinea Community is within the Soul Clinic community. Guinea has had a water well since 2013 but it has not been working for the past two years after its hand-powered pump failed. The breakdown forced residents to return to their old water sources -- open hand-dug wells that are prone to contamination, or water vendors that most people cannot afford.

Lifewater visited the community recently and, thanks to our donors, repaired the broken hand pump. Community leaders thanked the Lifewater repair team and the repair sponsors.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
