Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

Kivundui Primary School in the Nuu region, Mwingi Central in Kenya's Kitui County, has 250 students. The region barely receives any rain, leaving the schools without safe water for months. When it rained, the school would harvest very little water because it lacked both harvesting and storage capacity. Recently, Lifewater Canada donors provided the school with a rainwater catchment system which includes a 10,000-litre storage tank and hand-washing station. The students are happy now to have enough water even during long droughts. |
