Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

In the two years after the hand pump on the well in Dawaki Gawu broke down, residents got all their water from the nearest rivers and ponds. Despite their awareness of the negative effect of drinking contaminated water, people had no choice. Our arrival and rehabilitation of the well, including installation of a new hand pump, has restored safe water in the community. There is enough for everyone, thanks to our donors!
