A message from the community

We, the community of Kochieng, say thank you to Lifewater Canada for the rehabilitation of our communal well. We thank you for your support.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

"Acquiring clean water became an expensive affair after our well lost the ability to produce water," recalls Pamela Awuor, a community leader in the village of Kochieng. She and other residents were forced to buy water from expensive vendors or to drink from unsafe sources, which put everyone at constant risk of contracting waterborne diseases. Therefore, we thank our generous donors that enabled Lifewater Canada to replace the pump and rehabilitate the well -- enabling more than 600 children and adults to get safe water again.
