A message from the community |

On behalf of the people of Wenneh town, we wish to say a big thank you to Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia for enabling us to have access to clean and safe water. May God bless you all for taking care of our water needs by drilling a new well for us. ---Community Leaders |

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

People living in Wenneh town, in Liberia's Margibi county, for a long time could not access clean and safe water. The residents would only drink and wash from a dirty hand dug well. The well's water largely contributed to the diseases that plagued the community members but they continued to use it because it was all the option they had. But Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia teamed up to drill a new well for the community, and install a new hand pump. Because of the generosity of our donors, the community's new well is now supplying clean and safe water for about three hundred people. |
