Dear Lifewater & Sponsor,
We wish to express thanks and appreciation to you for the job well done.
We hope and pray that you will continue this kind of good work.
On behalf of the community we want to take this time to say many thanks to you for what you have done for us in our community. We highly appreciate your efforts, and once again we thank you.
Thank you,
Morris T.G. Drow, Elder & Resident
New Buchanan Block D Quarter #1 is located along the Liberia Agriculture Company (LAC) Highway. This community was officially considered an extension of Buchanan City in 2010. It was divided into blocks for the purpose of geographical and electoral identification.
This newly established community is very large, having no Government services, or health facilities, only one private elementary school called Fred Mart Day Care.
The only source of water here was the traditional hand dug wells until now. Lifewater has been the only team to visit this area, providing a new well and health education through a Health & Hygiene Workshop, conducted on May 31, 2018 with 21 people participating.
The community members gladly joined the Lifewater Team to pray for the success of the project and support the effort of the workers, prayerfully acknowledging God’s power to help them find good water.
This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
