We are deeply grateful to be able to collect enough water from the village well after the repairs. Ours is to give thanks to Lifewater Canada for funding the repair of our broken hand pump.

Water sources are well known in the community of Duazon in Liberia's Margibi  county, unfortunately, only one source of the of clean water and that is the village well. So, when the water in the village well became inaccessible because the hand pump was broken, the villagers, fully aware of the dangers in unsafe water but have no choice, reluctantly turned to the creeks and hand dug wells to satisfy their water needs.

But due to the generosity of Lifewater donors, we have repaired the broken pump so Duazon village's well is meeting everyone's safe water needs again.
