For communities like Duazon, the consequences of drinking dirty water are usually dire as they cannot afford a proper health care should they fall sick, and more often parents fail to go to work to earn a living because they are nursing sick children or they themselves are sick. It is because of some or all the above reasons and then some, that Lifewater Canada and Service to Servants visited Duazon village to service the hand pump on the village well. This hand pump had not been serviced for a while and was close to failing. Thanks to our donors, the community is now promised of a continuous flow of clean water from the village well.
