A message from the community |

On behalf of the Olasi Primary School and the community at large, I appreciate what you have done to our school. For long we could not access water from the school well. Now through the rehabilitation of our well, our students are happy to have access to clean and safe drinking water. May our Lord bless you abundantly. ---School Leaders |

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

About three hundred students from Olasi Primary School in Katito, Kisumu county were forced to drink and wash from a dirty dam, a short distance from the school. The students would fall sick and miss lessons after drinking from unsafe source. During this time, the water from the well in the school was inaccessible, because the hand pump was not working. Thankfully, Stada Kenya and Lifewater Canada visited the school and rehabilitated the broken down well, including replacing the school's old hand pump with a new one. Every student at Olasi Primary School is happily enjoying clean and safe drinking water.
