A message from the community |
Dear Sir/Madame Because of the increased security risk of being set alone in a large unpopulated area, we have had to initiate running a generator all night long. To keep this cost low we have purchased a small gas generator. Along with this need we have had to replace both our large diesel generator and our Medium Gas Generator. Now no matter what the need we can provide the entity power in a cost effective manner. Fuel is very expensive and our night generator uses small small gas. These machines are a great blessing.. Thank you so much . Sincerely Saye Waquoi Program Coordinator

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |
The cost of fuel for generators runs high, so we have devised a system that allows for particular needs of the compound. For overnight security when the draw for power is minimal, the small 1.5 KV generator which runs on about 1/2 gal. of gasoline for 5 to 6 hours is perfect. When the solar is insufficient we have a slightly larger generator to run the office and for work requiring power tools or Air Conditioning, the larger diesel generator is used.
