The Health & Hygiene workshop was held on Jan 20,2017 with 25 people in attendance. This town is located along the Liberian Firestone Duside Highway, just a few minutes drive away from 15- gate, part of the firestone rubber plantation and is owned by the Vai Family called Kaifa Family. New Kaifa Town is very populated and would depend on the creeks for all their water needs including washing clothes, bathing and would also use this same creek for dinking. Most of the people here work under a contract with the Firestone Rubber Plantation, this is how they provide for their families to have a meal on the table. With the intervention of Lifewater Liberia and its international Partners, the people of Kaifa Town are now enjoying safe drinking water from the hand pump recently constructed. This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
