Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

This Community Dolo Town 3 is located not too distant from the Firestone Hebbel belt in Lower Margibi County. This quarter is very large community in Dolo town with so many homes.

Their population growth has caused safe drinking water to be far out of reach and that is due to the high population in the area. There source of drinking water was from open wells which eventually dried, river, creek, stream and water from the swamp. These sources posed a great threat to their health.

This quarter, otherwise called The Peace Island, is situated in a very deep swamp area. All hand dug wells were only used during the dry season. During the rainy season all around Peace Island Community, Dolo Town 3 gets flooded with swamp water flowing from other communities surrounding the whole place.

On February 22,2018 a Health & Hygiene Workshop was conducted and 25 people participated. Lifewater H-H Team held its workshop sensitizing the participants and their respective spouse how to keep themselves from getting diseases, like diarrhea, cholera, etc. The workshop grasp their attention because of the concern rise by our team for the importance of having access to safe and bacteria-free drinking water for their children who are the most vulnerable when comes to unsafe drinking water.

The H-H Team was successful in molding the minds of the participants that there is nothing better than a safe drinking water for everyone and how to maintain the mechanism put in place by the Lifewater family to help address to water issues in bringing life water to their community.

This new well will provide safe drinking water for the community throughout the seasons.

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
