Project Summary

On May 3,2018 a Health & Hygiene Workshop was conducted in this community with 26 participants.

This community is located near Ma Irene Community Super Market in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County.  Approximately 600 people live in this forested community that severely lacked in safe drinking water and other basic needs. Rice and cassavas farming are practiced here as a way to provide for their families. The people would use the hand dug wells to get water from, and during the rainy season these wells would completely erode away.  This well will provide them with safe drinking water for many years to come.

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
