Project Summary

Old Kpanay Town Community Quarter #5 is a community with good road access, business centers, schools and clinics, but lacks safe drinking water. Exposed hand dug wells are used here, exposing the population to many water borne diseases.

The Health and Hygiene Team held a workshop on May 11, 2018 having 22 participants. The people received instructions and learned healthy practices to protect and maintain a healthy life.  The participants thanked the Lifewater Family for bringing them the knowledge to maintain a healthy life, and providing them with a hand pump giving them safe clean water for many years to come.

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
