The people of Jerko Town Block A 4

Jerko Town (Block A Quarter#4)  The population of this large community is approximately 560 people. The children do not go to school and the living conditions are terrible.

The people here have had great hardship because of the lack of water especially in the dry season, and they do not have money to pay for a well. This new well brings them Health & Hope and provides them and their families with safe drinking water for many years to come.

On August 20, 2018 a Health & Hygiene Workshop was conducted with 20 participants. The instructors carefully presented hygiene lessons to help them understand the practices and the importance of continuing what they have learned for a Healthy home and Community.

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
