Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

This community of 980 people is located along the road leading to Grand Bassa Orphanage Home Center. This area lacks educational & health facilities. The only water sources available to the people have been the nearby Benson River, creeks and open hand dug wells. The Health & Hygiene Team conducted a workshop, teaching and reminding them how important it is to keep their surrounding areas clean and free of waste material. Our team also taught the group how to prepare a solution to purify water before consumption in the event of unavailable safe water. The community gave thanks and praises to God for what they had learned and for the relief brought to their community, especially for the children.
This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support! |
