Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Gbeahn Town also known as Zerdougbo Town is located behind Troublem Town junction, Grand Bassa County. The name Zerdougbo is in the local Bassa dialectic,  meaning, 'Take of Your Ear' interpreted in common sense as, "Do not listen to what you hear and do not care about it".  Mind your own business.

The main source of water for the locals of this town have been hand dug wells, creek and or spring water. this town have never had any  Health and Hygiene education in years, as a result, the  environment is not healthy for the women and children of this town.  Diseases like diarrhea, typhoid, malaria and running stomach are common in their town. Zerdougbo Town does not have a health center neither school. These people main livelihood is based on farming.

The Health and Hygiene Team workshop was well attended as the locals gather to received   knowledge on how to maintain a  healthy  life by keeping their environment clean. After the Workshop, the participants thanked and showed high appreciation to the Sponsors of Lifewater, the various teams and the entire Family for bringing to them knowledge for a healthy life.

The Lifewater drilling team's effort through the power of God continues to serve the people of  Grand Bassa County. This time it is the people of Gbeahn Town (Zerdougbo Town) whose prayer brought to them a change for the betterment of their lives through the Grace of God. Upon the arrival of Lifewater Drilling Team, the inhabitants began to sing and praise the Almighty God for His Grace for provision of the well project that has a great impact on their well being.

There were stories heard who had given up hope because of what they had experienced during the Civil War. A lady, (named withheld) lost her entire family leaving with her 3 (three) children to take care of, no support from anywhere but herself. Now, through this well, her hope and faith are restored!

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
