A message from the community

Dear Sir,

You are to be highly commended for the kind gesture to all of us.  We will forever remember you as long as there is life in us. We are praying that God will richly bless your noble organizations with an abundance you can't fathom.

Providing safe drinking water is like giving us a drink of eternal water for it brings life with it.   It is a great task and we are grateful you have offered this service to us.

The workshop was a big help as well.  We are much better equiped to care for this new well and to keep the good water it gives us safe for our children.

Thank you

James Qwimene

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Happyville Community falls within Compound # 3, after Liberia Agriculture Company (LAC) in Upper Grand Bassa County. It was established since ten years ago. The name 'Happyville' came about when the Agriculture Center was built within the area by the Liberian Government. That establishment brought joy and happiness in the minds of the inhabitants.

The Happyville Community is large and populated, dominantly, youth and children. The main sources of water supply in Happyville have been hand dug wells, creeks and smaller swamp streams. All of these water sources are easily contaminated by bacterium that causes running stomach, diarrhea typhoid and other infectious diseases. These situations are common among the population here.

The Workshop conducted for the inhabitants advised them to dig pits for latrine and also taught them how to domestically purify water through the chlorination process.

At the conclusion of the Workshop, the participant thanks the Life water family for impacting such knowledge on how to continue good health practices at the local level to maintain a Healthy environment.

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
