New Community Land Q#3 is located in Compound # 3 established in 2004. This part of the community was created to accommodate the overgrowing population in Q#2, but it still lacks basic social services like schools, health center and safe drinking water. The people of this community depends on Subsistence farming and petty trade for their livelihood. To date they get water for their home use from their neighbor's open hand dug wells in Q #2. During the dry season these wells go dry leaving them with no access to clean water source but the nearby creeks. During the Workshop, the participants practice the lessons learned from the disease transmission and they are to apply the practice every day to make their lives healthy. Thanks and appreciation was given to the Lifewater Health and Hygiene Team and the Sponsor of this worthy Program. To God be the glory for the great things He have done , were the exact words used by the Chair-Lady of the New Land community to describe how happy they were to received God favor after many years of suffering from the Lack of safe drinking water in the whole area. With God's many Blessing He answer the prayer of this community for safe and clean This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's.
